Inauguration of the ‘Pink Mosque’ for the beginning of Ramadan

Muslims of Phillipines are in minority, mostly situated in South attended this inauguration on Sunday (first day of Ramadan). The mosques is named as ‘Mosque Rose’. The reason of the pink color of the mosque is not clearly defined but it is belived that it symbolizes unity and love in Mindanao region, which saw the beginning of voilence between Muslim minority and the pre-dominat authority in the beginning of 2014.
