Mobile phone is a device witch is used to communicate with others. When we are in Masjid we must switch off our mobile phones because the ringing of mobile phone causes disturbance and is also disrespectful in the house of Allah (Masjid).
The ringing of mobile phone also causes other people confused while offering the Salah .We can leave our mobile phones in the vibration mode so we can avoid these type of issues.
