Eid-ul-Adha is known as Festival of Sacrifice and it is celebrated by Muslims worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his dearest thing i.e his son Prophet Ismael as an act of obedience to Allah.
Eid-ul-Adha celebrations begin after Hajj when families sacrifice animals such as, cow, goat, sheep, camel, by slaughtering. Then meat is distributed among people. Family gets one third of meat, another third is distributed among relatives, friends, neighbors and other third is distributed among poor and needy.
